Art Pasette

My work is hand-built using cone 10 stoneware clay. I fire almost exclusively in gas kilns and use 1 or 2 variations of shino glazes. The resulting functional ware has a rustic and unpredictable look; sometimes with quite a bit of carbon trapping, sometimes with more apricot tones. I intend that my work be functional – in service of food, holding plants, flowers or dried arrangements, adding rustic interest to its owner’s surroundings.
